FAQs
What is the arrival and departure time? You can arrive as early as 10 a.m. on Thursday morning and depart as late as 6 p.m. on Sunday evening. There is no additional fee for arriving Thursday.
May I arrive a day early or stay an extra day? This is definitely an option based upon availability (classes and other events being held at the retreat). An additional night stay is $45 and does not include any food. Please contact us in advance to see if this is feasible for your weekend stay.
Is food included in the fee? Food is not included in the base fee provided. We can provide you your with local caterer names if desired. Full-Size kitchen available for use. Restaurants within 5 miles.
What kitchen items and supplies do I need to bring? The full-size kitchen has two ovens, a stove top, crock pots, Crock pots, pots and pans, basic seasonings, and all you will probably need for your stay. Before packing kitchen items, and to leave room for more important things (like your crafting supplies), ask us if we have what you need. Chances are we do.
Is Wifi available? We do have high-speed internet available for your use.
What special amenities are there? There is a swimming pool for use retreat guests ONLY. There is no guarantee it will be available for retreat use. It is a perk only when available. Children and non-paying guests are not allowed in the pool without prior approval (for liability reasons).
Do you supply drinks and snacks? Coffee and tea are available. There are two full-size refrigerators available for your use. A Keurig coffee maker is available for your use. Please provide your own K-cups and creamers. (A regular powdered creamer is available.)
Do I need to bring my own Cricut / Scan-N-Cut mat? Please provide your own mats and blades They are not provided.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises? If you are with a group, this decision is left to the hostess. Please contact them for their thoughts on this topic. If you are not with a group, alcoholic beverages are allowed but should be consumed in moderation and in respect of the other retreaters.
May children and men visit during a retreat? Due to retreaters wanting to escape the everyday responsibilities of life, and sometimes being dressed very comfortably, men are not allowed in the retreat home. Should there be a need for them to stop by, please visit with them outside on the front or back patios, in respect for the others in attendance. Children are not allowed inside the retreat unless approved in advance.
Are there Day Crop spots available? Day Crop spots are available during the week as space allows. Please contact us for availability.
If you book the entire house, day crop spot availability is left to the decision of the hostess. If you are retreating as part of a smaller group, day crop spots are filled by the Crafty Creations Retreat staff.
